METU CC Network Group gives campuswide DNS service (metu.edu.tr, odtu.edu.tr, metu.edu).

METU CC DNS servers reply the queries of IP addresses that belong only to METU (144.122.0.0/16) and does not respond to recursive queries that come from IP addresses other than METU.

Academic departments and administrative units are advised to use the DNS service run by METU CC instead of running their own DNS servers.
